I knew a woman once that closed the door before she was fully in the seat, trapping her foot between the door and the side of the seat. When she went to open the door, the bolt was loose and the handle came off. Since she was able able to reach the pedals, she drove around the lot trying to find someone to open the door. (Mom, if you are reading this, I am sorry.)
