Gatta hand it to the cop, he has great presents of mind and radios back to dispatch shots fired and they just hit a pole. Especially after being fired on, and having to not only pull out his sidearm, but actually use it.

@heliumftwDrunk driver had just had a fight with his girlfriend and was ejected from the bar where she worked. He dropped the revolver's hammer on a fired case and that allowed the officer to react. The perp fired the gun on the second try. The officer killed the driver with a bullet to the back.

I would have been disappointed in the cop if he had not hit the drive, after emptying the whole damn clip. It would have been more dramatic to let him get 40 yards away and then one head shot...BAM!
