STOP! THINK! ACT! I am a drummer so i feel i'm slightly more in the know than most people here. It's little wonder he poked his eye out as the key to drumming is grip. My important advice to all drummers is,STOP: make sure you hold the sticks correctly. THINK: about how you approach the kit. ACT: slowly build up your speed until confidence has been gained. I play along to Coldplay using these rules.
