  1000 fps is nothing: in the 50s they tried to get it up to one million fps for a nuke but the camera exploded, u could just barley see a bullet at 1000 frames per second

    @THErumpofroastWrong: The nukes were photographed using a series of high speed cameras. A bullet from an Colt M16A2 has a muzzle velocity of about 975 m/s so 1000 f/s would let the bullet travel .975 m/frame. A bullet fired from a pistol has a much lower muzzle velocity, fx a Glock 17 delivers a muzzle velocity of 385 m/s leaving .385 m/f.
