For once I gotta give Dr. Phil some credit. He found out that these women were posing as the producers of the Dr. Phil show to scam people out of thousands of dollars. So he waits for them all to gather at a hotel for a party and he confronts them in person on camera.

What did he expect, for her not to deny it? He should have posed as a caller (from his cellphone outside the door), then just after she told him the lies, he should have knocked and THEN come in with the cameras-- AHA!!! CAUGHT RED-HANDED!!! "You just told me you represent Dr. Phil -- well, here I am! Gimme my money!"
