rofl yeah that was NOT a few feet away, much further, besides the sound of the lightning bolt was to much after, and not as loud as it would of been if it was a few feets away from dog, maybe 100 feet or more.

Sorry its fake. A lightning strike doesnt miss it will strike the highest conductor which would be the trees, no way will it bypass the house and trees and dog and hit on emply ground like that.

You can tell that the delay in the sound of lightning is long enough to be much farther than right nex to the dog. The sheeer brightness probably made a double image of the strike causing it to appear to be closer than it really was. You can also tell that the video is in good sync with the audio because of the camera shaking at the same time as the sound of thunder.

@Atomchildi think the biggest thing is the people did not go inside after the strike lol.

@Atomchild Lightning struck the fence.. not in they yard. What's most interesting is that the dog remained in the dry area untill just before the strike, then runs RIGHT AT the location of the strike, as though he knew exactly where to go!

To comment on the peta comments.... There's the saying "if a tree fell in the woods and nobody was around, would it make a sound?" If lightning struck a wild boar in the mountains, would you care? Probably not, because you wouldn't know. It's a thing called natural selection. Quit worrying about little shit like one in a million odds like a dog almost getting struck by lighting. Does it make the owner cruel that they didn't call the dog back in the house?! I say nay!

Morons: It's too bad it didn't hit these morons. Maybe it would have shocked some common sense into their peanut sized brains. Do you think it might be a good idea to call the dog in? You cretinous schmucks.

      mayonhayes - 3 years ago

@biohazard561agree. if that strike was that close the cam man would have reacted. he held the cam as steady as if nothing happened. iv had a strike hit bout 40 metres from me and i jumped a mile high. then i went and changed my shitty kax
