  if: ur already trying to get away from the cops u've done enough illegal shit.... dont think u'll pay much attention to whether or not the vanishing plates r illegal...lol i've heard there are cars where u can pull them in sorta like a slot for the mail or a garage door.....

  0: All of you have no idea what your talking about. The reason they have this vanishing plate is because when they do runs like the Bullsrun, or the PlayersRun or any of these other types of runs (races are what they really are) these guys race along highways at speeds in excess of 150mph. The cops can't catch up but they can get pics of license plates as the car passes, through the dash cam. This is to prevent that. If they do get stopped they know they will get Fucked for a modded plate but these guys do

  did that: my dad did that with his motorclycle plate but he used a sting that was holdin it up and when he pulled it it fell down so the cops can see it

  illegal?: hmm, cant speak for every state, but most states dictate that any change or modification to a plate is illegal.. and that includes turning it on an angle... so obviously this would be illegal in most states.. although would you get caught on a normal day? probably not.
