I honestly don't know who I side with in this clip. Obviously the dude in the car is wrong but seriously, do you need to inconvenience traffic to prove your point. I'm not a fan of high gas prices either but you won't see me demonstrating by riding my bike on a train track.

    I gotta tell ya. The driver broke the law, but the demonstrators were also breaking the law and obviously trying to goad somebody into doing just this sort of thing to draw attention to their cause. Unfortunately, they probably did more harm than good because they ruined any good will there may have been among auto drivers for cyclists.

    if you will notice, the idiot in the car went around another car and had to climb the median to get back into traffic. the bicycle riders had permits to hold the demonstration and what the driver in the car did is considered vehicular assualt. i count 3 counts of it. he ran over 1 biker then hit and smashed 2 others as he fled the scene. i dont agree with the way they had their demonstration but will protect their right to do so.

      @cyberbulldog13it's not even technically a demonstration, if you're over 18 and on a bike, you have all the same rights as a car on the street... that being said they made a ridiculous number of traffic violations including illegal lane changes and 2 to a lane, which is also illegal. I can't tell, did they get the license plate number?
