  if you look at the video when the impact of the tackeled occurred the knife in her hand is extended away from her body and she is moving towards the police officer this is more aggressive behavior. I think considering the fact that they did not have a taser this was the best course of action, She already had rammed the police car and was acting very irrational.     @GoToGurusDefinitely. I saw this episode of Cops, she was all jacked up on prescription pills and alcohol. She didn't even know what planet she was on. Going after cops with that huge butcher knife, they could've shot her and been justified, this went as well as it possibly could.

  For those questioning what the cop said at the end, he said, "Yeah we found her....she's got a knife in her gut..." I watched this episode and it was like he stammered on his words. The editing of the video made it sound like he said they found her like that. Also, this was back in the early 90's. Tasers were not a popular tool among law enforcement until the last 2-3 years.     @chr50RmI think you have no clue what your talking about, she was clearly threatening that live, and the other officer flanked her left side, it was her fault that right before she fell the put the knife into her gut, you can clearly see it 00:40, she clearly stabbed herself. So grow up and stop saying that the people that protect you aren't doing the tight thing.
