Uh, 100 MPH?!? If you jumped out of a plane, you barely hit 100 MPH. Prolly more like 40-50 MPH tops. Break serves up another winning description, and another failure at critical thinking.

@pimpbotdude you dunno the law of gravity if you jump from a plane the velocity of human is 200 mph

    • Xissor

@pimpbotThat's around 200 km/h - not miles, according to Wikipedia.

@pimpbotA free falling object, if starting from a speed of 0, falls at a rate of 9.8 meters per second per second, meaning it gains 9.8 meters per second every second it falls. 9.8 meters per second is equal to approx 21.91 miles per hour. That means that every second the object gains 21.91 miles per hour more than the previous second. If you do the math, you'll find that in order to reach 100 miles per hour, it takes approx 4.56 seconds. Due to the angle and tension of the line, there may be a different time for t

@pimpbotHave you ever jumped out of a plane? Obviously not. Avg. speed of a skydiver in arch is about 120 mph.

Slightly cooler than the 30' zipline I built in my backyard, but my budget was 50 cents for a pulley & 10 cents for duct tape.

wasn't 100mph, that's for sure, and the person even said "that wasn't so scary" at the end of it...try jumping out of a plane, or even the luge is more hardcore.

that looks like the most fun a human could possibly have. however, that line has got to be longer than 1.2 miles and there is no way that was 100 mph

yea bullspit there is no way that was going 100mph, if the highest speed the average human can hit falling from a plain is about 65mph, how are you going to hit 100mph with friction. stupid niccas

    • srykty

      srykty - 2 years ago

@kingwally08actually dumbass, terminal velocity of a sky diver is around 124 mph, almost twice as fast as you thought, and even though it doesn't look like this guys traveling 100 mph, it'd be better to check the information you give to try to make other people look dumber than you.

      FrankLee772 - 2 years ago

@kingwally08Kingwally is definitely the sofa king of the day. Terminal velocity of a human can actually get up above 200mph especially if they are strapped to an aerodynamic shape like a rocket. 65mph is with arms and legs spread eagled to slow you down as much as possible before deploying your chute.

    • ghreoip

      ghreoip - 2 years ago

@kingwally08wow you need to go back to school and get your high school diploma, terminal velocity is almost 200mph take a look at the link http://hypertextbook.com/facts
