  Ok... facts..: No, a glock does not have a finger safety... Yes, Cops do have trigger locks (which should have been in place for a demo). Also, it is likely that the clip was removed from the gun, and/or emptied before the demonstration, but some dumbass just forgot to check the chamber. Most cops roll with 8, 10, or 15 in the clip (depending on style) and one in the chamber. Being DEA, he was probably carrying 15, but i digress. MORONS ANONYMOUS FTW!

    @Cyfreactually i think that he was dumber than you think, I think that there was a clip in his gun, because i think he cocked the gun back, and if there was a shell in the chamber than when he cocked it it would have been ejected, but in sted i think the shell got chambered when he cocked it. so i think your the dumb one here bud

  the dumb: cop pulled the slide back to check and make sure that there wasnt a round in the chamber, but there were bullets in the clip and when he droped the slide he chambered a round. i thougt they made sure cops could handle weapons

  i think: that he thought the gun was UNLOADED. but anyone who's ever used a gun knows that you check.. and double check to make sure your weapon is empty, Every time you pick it up.. FYI. glocks have no finger safety.

  Hear me: Most of the comments here r totally crap, some of you guys should really think twice before posting all the "LOL bullshit fake idiot xD" stuff. This is an old clip and has been posted here (or big-boys.com) earlier 'cause I remember this was a fun clip back then, re-posting old stuff isn't so wise expecially in these kind of vids showing police officers teaching a real life lessons to young kids. Respect.

  Two words:: Re-tard. Who brings a loaded weapon in front of kids? Even more stupid, who doesn't put the safety on? I found it histarical that seconds before he shoots himself, he claims to be the only one trained enough to carry a gun. As soon as he finishes saying that, BANG! But bravo to him for continuing and, accidentally, showing the kids that accidents can happen, even to vets.

  ROFL: You know what I love most about this clip? No matter how many times I watch this, it's still as funny as it was the first time. The best part is, the students just take it all in stride. This guy just shot himself in front of all these kids, and the kids are just like, "Eh, whatever."

  Law suit: For everyone out there that thinks this wasn't a real cop and that he didn't really shoot himself, think again. This guy is a veteran DEA agent and he was demonstrating gun safety to these kids after a classmate accidently shot another classmate. Also, this guy has filed a lawsuit against the DEA for the accidently release of this video which has caused him much embarassment. I have to applaud this guy for continuing on and showing these kids that accidents can happen with guns even to a veter
