Now I may not be familiar with the events that lead up to this arrest but I would think any cop could handcuff a 100 pound chick without having to bust her arm in half, punch her in the head, and pepper spray her. Seemed over the top to me what do you guys think.

    Dumb chick! The cop repeated the same command and even told her he didn't want to hurt her by forcing her arm, which I'm sure would snap that thing like a twig. But that that idiot bit him!!! He remained pretty cool for having to deal with that moron!

    It doesn't matter if you are a 300 lbs. and the perpatrator weighs 100 lbs. It's REALLY difficult to handcuff somebody that doesn't want to be handcuffed. Specially if you don't want to cause excessive injuries. He used all the appropiate force steps. Issued clear and precise instructions but once the subject starts biting, which is highly dangerous because of the possibility of infection, you have to step it up a notch. Good call from the officer.

    Depending on where this occured, it looks like resonable force to me. The woman was given ample opportunity to comply, but instead she tries to bite the officer. She should count herself lucky that the officer used pepper spray and not a baton. The only fault I see in the officer is trying to handcuff someone he doesn't have adequate control over.

     Absolutely jestified. Dont be a drunk idiot in public and the Police wont even bother you. Don't resist the Police when they are trying to arrest or detain you and you wont get sprayed, tazed, or taken to the ground. Really simple

    If you have ever tried to get a 30 pound two-year-old into a car-seat when they refuse to cooperate, you will understand that the force used by this cop was minimal and justified. I would've TASED her.

     Well I've never been pepper sprayed but some friends of mine in the navy went through a course and got pepper sprayed in the face. Takes about a day for the stuff to come off and water and soap doesn't work very well.

    Yeah seems like any decent human being with good reasoning (especially when weighing 100 lbs) will not resist against a police officer and would use common sense in order to prevent all the actions the police officer did, oh and biting him was a great idea, the police officer HAD NO right whatsoever (sarcasm) to pepper spray her or to even try to defend himself. Are you a moron? Excessive force? F*ck the author of this video, that bitch deserved it.

    Cop: Put your hands behind you back x 15...I stopped counting Girl: I don't want to go to jail x 6... again, I stopped counting. She bit him after he was gentle enough to let her... I would've knocked that b*tch out. And yes, I'm 6'2" and 320lbs. He deserves an award for not cramming his nightstick in her screaming mouth. Besides, had she not left the kitchen to do crack, this wouldn't have happened.

    He did NOT punch her in the head. He used a technique called a Brachial Stun. He struck her between the neck and the shoulder. This sends a shooting pain down the suspects arm and causes them to lose function of the arm temporarily. Its a common technique and it doesn't injure. He could have taken out his baton and cracked her for biting him, which would have been proper use of force, but he showed incredible restraint. Kudos to the officer.

    She is clearly off her face and is not in her right mind so what is happening probably seemed a lot worse than what it was most of the time cops are trying to help people like this and get them off the streets so they can get help or prevent them from being in dangerous situations and the worst thing she can do is resist arrest like that cops have the right to use force after warning and he gave her too many to begin with!!
