    It's totally fake. That's a male veiled chameleon. I owned a male and female. Both were extremely healthy and never did they ever exhibit pink or purple. You may want to learn something about chameleons if you're going to raise them. All chameleons are generically tuned to match their surroundings. Forest chameleons are green, desert chameleons are brown. Their color change has more to do with "emotion" and health than blending. Their color ranges from black to bright green.
