Light a candle, blow it out, and relight the smoke. The flame drops back onto the wick and continues to burn. It's not magic-- it's just one of those things that you'd never think to do if you didn't know you could.

it's all about the parts per million in the fuel/air mixture. you can cause an explosion with dust, why do you think grain silos explode? same concept. This is the same principal that makes the engine in your car work. it's hard to light gasoline, but not gasoline fumes.

Carbon Monoxide (by-product of incomplete combustion) is in fact combustible. as the flame hits the carbon monoxide....voila...flame travels back to the wick.

@TantalizingDoucheYou think you're some sort of mad scientist? Let me lay it down for you. Fire requires 3 things in order to function. Oxygen, fuel source, and ignition. Oxygen we breathe is obviously the oxygen for the fire. Judging by the amount of smoke coming from that candle after it's been blown out, I'd say it's a some what of a cheap candle probably paraffin wax. An inefficient flame leaves more smoke when it's put out so there you have your fuel source. Next the lighter is the

the wick is still hot enough to emit flammable vapors/gasses that can be ignite. when a solid or liquid is heated it will eventually decompose into flammable vapors that can be ignited with a spark or flame. in the case of the candle the flame may have been extinguished but the wick is still hot enough to evaporate the melted wax and these flammable vapors are what is being ignited in the smoke.

This is like posting a video about how amazing it is when grass grows taller after you cut it shorter. This guy, and the Break staff are the only people who have never done this after 3rd grade.
