  @blackti erm....: Actually alaskan kid, he did not have any power behind his punch. he slowed and pulled back right as he hit the guy and he did not fully put his weight into the punch, nor did he twist his hips and feet effectively. He just got startled and realized that he was in no danger midway through the swing.

Sad BUT TRUE Story: I did that once, but it was when my Grandma tried to scare me when i was a lot younger. I knocked her tooth out. It was a horrible feeling, but it was just reaction.
