This is pretty cool, a guy synced up his Christmas lights to the THX sound that plays before a movie starts. I can't imagine how many hours and weeks this must have taken. Well worth the effort!

@Envarif you use led light for ten hours for 40 days (for one regular lengh)it's gonna cost you 10 cents , because its use so less power than the regular one. so electricity it's not the concern her.

i'v seen this before: its cool. my hub is in hardware, electronics engineering school he told me how this shit works... good job to the person who did this but i doubt it took them a long time (other than setting up the lights)

The christmas lights: are synchronized with hardware and software from LightORama. It's alot of fun :)

that is awsome: a master electronics engineer wouldn't take as long as you think to do that. its not that hard. i built a simple circuit that uses x-mas lights to turn off and on rapidy according to the music like this. (not as advance as this but its not that much more advanced.) i use it on my home stereo system its cool. 3 different color xmas lights react to 3 different things of the music. if i had a camcorder or a way to record it. i;d record it in action. same basic idea but function is a little

More specifically...: ...that's the THX leader for the original Toy Story laserdisc -- it used to be one-of-a-kind, but I think THX dropped it on a couple of others (including the DVD) since then.
