    @AbrahamFromanactually it was a warning shrill the horse was giving to the other to say back off or i will bite or kick you. usually you will hear mares make that sound. actually come to think about it, i dont think i ever heard a gelding or stud make that sound. their sound is a lot different in pitch and length.
