In the end; idiots in the video above are ruining the sport for everyone. There are plenty of deserted streets to longboard on; and if your blocking traffic common courtesy is to pull over. Crossing a double yellow is not illegal in all jurisdictions, douchebag longboarders should stay off the highways, but rather than giving him a brake test I would just run him off the road.

Skateboarders were breaking the law....BUT the jeep had no reason to hit the brakes in front of them. His middle finger out the window is proof of his malicious intentions. This is no different than if a motorcycle is speeding (illegally) and a car intentionally speeds in front of them just to hit the brakes and make them crash. Doesn't matter what is legal, thats just WRONG.

Actually, no. The roads arent for people to bomb down on skateboards. As you can see there are tons of cars on the road at that time. They took the chance... im amused by the results. Dinks.

The only thing the Jeep did wrong was pass over the double yellow. Bikes are allowed on the street becuase they have this magical thing called breaks. That way you don't have to bust your ass to stop in a timely manner. Its like if I hit your dog in the street you are liable for the damage to my car.
