Uhh: That would be a Low Speed camera. Think about it, your standard video is 30 FPS, in 30 FPS you wouldn't see a bullet flying. Now lets say it's 5000 FPS, you're definitely not going to see a bullet flying, that would be like fast-motion. This might be like 10 FPS, or less, which would lower the amount of frames captured thus allowing you to see the bullets. Simply put, you can't see a bullet flying through the air at 30 FPS, you sure in the hell aren't going to see it at 5000 FPS. DOH!

    • IceBergGrafix

      IceBergGrafix - 2 years ago

@JHackerXLOL, Silly: Filmed at 5000Frames per Second, and then Played back at 30FPS would slow down high speed action. Pity You aren't in film school, They wouldn't let you near a 24fps camera.

@JHackerXWow: I love it when stupid people try to act smart. Think in frames... lets say you use one frame per second, like a regular photo... are you going to see any of this? no... 2 frames per second, you will see the watermellon, then no watermellon... etc... 5000 frames per second... you'll see 5000 pictures, in one second... slow it down, and you'll have this video.

    • TickNhomas

      TickNhomas - 2 years ago

@JHackerXYou sir, are an idiot.: A "low speed" camera, like you stated would show the film skipping if something as simple as a man walking was filmed. This is because the term "frames per second" refers to how many frames of footage the camera can actually take per second, therefore a 5000 FPS camera would take 5000 frames every second and a 30 FPS camera would only take 30 frames in that one second...now which camera is going to have more footage of the bullet tearing through it's target? Obviously the 5000 FPS

    • spid3rkid

      spid3rkid - 2 years ago

@JHackerXNo: The video is taken at 5000 frames per second. Think about it, in one second of time 5000 frames are recorded. Now make it so that we see those frames in very slow motion. We're damn sure gonna see that bullet.

    • camelflage

      camelflage - 2 years ago

@JHackerXyou're dumb: 5000 frames per second so when they slow it down you can see. It is a high speed camera. if it was 10fps then it would be like a post-it animation that a 2nd grader makes.

    • Psythik

      Psythik - 2 years ago

@JHackerXUmm actually...: If the camera was recording at 10 FPS, the video would be so choppy when you slowed it down that you would never see the bullet. Most video cameras record at 24 FPS, and even at that speed you'd never see the bullet, no matter how much you slowed down the footage. However, if you use a camera capable of recording at 5000 FPS, when you slow down the video from that camera to 30 FPS, you get the really smooth slow motion effect as shown in this video. Do your research before you make such

@JHackerXCompletely opposite.: 5000 Frames per second causes everything to appear to slow down. At 30FPS, there are 30 pictures taken in one second. 5000FPS, 5000 pictures. A bullet moves so quickly that it cannot be caught by those 30 pictures. The time interval isn't short enough.

    • jorard

      jorard - 2 years ago

@JHackerXjesus you are smug dumbass: why would less frames per second allow you to see a bullet? The FPS does not determine the speed of the film, it simply means that more frames are being captured per second. Thing of it this way: Someone throws a ball across you field of vison. Lets say you blink every 2 seconds, so for every 2 seconds your eyes are open, they are closed for 1 second. If the ball takes 3 seconds to go across your field of vision then you will only see it for max. 2 second, providing you time you

@JHackerXHOLY MOTHER OF GOD: Your are the biggest retard i have ever encountered, you have NO idea how cameras work do you. an object moves in a continuous motion whether the camera sees it or not 30 fps is the norm allowed for a seamless transition of frames thus allowing no skippage the less frames per second means the more your going to miss on movement (aka lag) the higher the FPS the more detail you will see, this is necesarry when trying to capture something as fast as a BULLET on camera. Now read up on this
