  A spear gun uses rubber slings to launch the spear therefore does not "recoil"... If anybody actually watched the video you can see the sling snaps back which is what hits him.... BTW your all dumb.

    @FurheadMmhmm.... and why exactly do you think his fist that was holding the grip also seemed to hit him in the face? Last time i checked, reverse movement of projectile weapon = recoil. Newton's 3rd law, anyone? Any action has an equal and opposite reaction? With bands that long, there's no chance of launching the spear without being some sort of recoil..... unless fired UNDER WATER, where spear guns are meant to be fired.
