    Boiled water freezes quicker than room temperature water. Boiling is a cooling process. Room temperature water would not do this. Wait.. wtf do you guys care? The internet is for trash talkin now days..

      @AlessandroHemeryckxHey, keep up that high school education - I'm sure even if you just manage a GED you could get hired in either the food service or custodial industries! I mean, who needs to know how physics really works, right? Oh, and garlic hung in socks on the end of your bed over night will cure a cold, too - scares away the cold demons. (Stupid scientists saying it's germs and all that! Duh!)

    guys, this is all about surface area. heat transfers faster cause the water breaks into smaller droplets, so the cold can transfer and freeze the water faster. Whereas cold water tends to clump together. Same as how saw dust burns faster than bigger pieces of wood. just opposite effect.

    Idiots...it's not freezing...what you see is is the fog coming off the water...the water is still hitting the ground. Duh.
