Nothing makes a heartwarming crash video like knowing the guy could get hurt a lot worse. A lucky guy wearing a helmet suffers only minor injuries after this scary and painful fall down some concrete steps.

Even if he would've cleared the steps, the impact from the concrete would've probably made him fall anyway.

deff not a bmx but that blows big times. he has no face left

Yeah... Not BMX. normally I would say nice attempt but this one is just horrible. This is a clear case of a rider that goes over his own limits to impress and show off to his friends. He's a statistic and nothing more.

@BREAKFAST_BURRITOYou could get them in the 70's. With big Fenders and a pair of flares thrown in for good measure.

@cacamaluHe didn't land on the grass or the steps. He landed on the outer boarder of the steps.

@cacamaluWho cares if he landed on concrete or grass. He landed on his face and that is what matters=P

It would appear as though he lands: 1. sideways (bike nearly horizontal) 2. on the side/ railing of the steps ...might have landed fine in an upright, centered position...

    • damndumbdude

      damndumbdude - 3 years ago

@FiatLuxhe merely forgot to get enough height or distance...that topped with a failure to maintain uprightness as you've brilliantly pointed out...I would think that he would have made it had the outside air temperature was a degree higher...thus allowing the air to be less dense, providing less drag

@FiatLuxWow, there sure are some smart people on Break

@FiatLuxyes....one degree higher in temperature and a very slight cross-wind from the east. would have been epic success.

seriously, what did he think was going to happen?

    • mtbrider

      mtbrider - 3 years ago

@Okanekureobviously land on the bottom staircase after jumping over the first.... riding down stairs is easy...

  • mtbrider

    mtbrider - 3 years ago

def a 24 or 26 inch, not a bmx (20 inch) bike. I ride and have done similar gaps. SteveDidWhatt had it correct on what the "attempt" was. Since there is what seems like snow on the sides of the stairs, and the obvious low temperature (trees are bare) I wouldnt be surprised if there was some snow / ice he landed on causing his bike to slip out (notice how it flies off to the side when he lands and he goes off the side, not over the handlebars).
