  Well: This guy is really a pro rider and was one of the best in the world at the time. He did not mess up his clutch cable broke. There was nothing he could do about. Oh and as far as the helmet well his head did not have a scratch on it and if you think about it there are fates worse than death. ie being paralized and completely aware that you can't wipe your own butt because the helmet kept your head protected and at the same time added that extra weight to help snap your neck. Just a thought. Needless t
