  I really do not understand it. This song is mediocre compared to other orchestral arrangements depicting deterioration of character/relations/life. Clint Mansell did a great job with this, but I don't think this deserves such high praise. The song is used so often by so many people because it reaches its chorus so early and its repetition of it lasts the for the expanse of the song. It's so very drawn out.

    @BossesbossI told a (big bad) biker (that I work with) that if he rides his loud POS Harley next to my vehicle again, I was going to run him off the road or ping the gas tank with a BB pistol....I'm told by other co workers that he now waits for me to leave and then he waits another couple of minutes before leaving.
