Even though this is very well done I got to call fake on it. I cant imagine that Microsoft would endorse it but it is very funny.

It is the actual commercial: they just dubbed over it with the funny dialogue, it is actually a pretty serious commercial.

  @bassplayer82Not that funny really...: Microsoft did make that commercial. With the help of Lowe Ad agency they tried to produced a compelling war story told from the point of view of a veteran whilst looking over a museum display in a tribut to Master Chief. This however is a dubbed spoof. Neither overly float my boat.
