maximum speed of 1000 times 24 frames: makes 24 000 frames per second and the filmed second will last 16 minutes 40 seconds in playback. Ofcourse they don't have to use the entire potential of the camera everytime.

The name should be changed: This video is neither shot nor played back 80 fps

Now hold on a second. (24p frames): This video is shot 80 times faster. That means 24 * 80 = 1920 frames per second (or 25 fps * 80 = 2000 fps in some systems). So the camera takes 1920 photographs in one second. When the video is played back one second of filmed time is 80 seconds (1 min 20 sec) of shown video. This looks like the beautiful slow motion we see in the video.

@PhatCat16but: but the faster you film something, the more you can slow it down, and get more detail.

80fps?: maybe 800 but 80 is just too litle.. (he said slowed down 80 times actualy so its 80 times the normal framerate (26x80) round 2000 fps

    • lollammevid

      lollammevid - 2 years ago

@Igg_Odude: 1000 is 1 second is 15 mins so 800 fps would be more than ten minutes so that is definately less than 800. maybe a lil more than 80 like 100 but not 800 lol

quick camera: 80 fps would be slightly higher than half speed since normal video is displayed at 30 fps. I'm guessing closer to 3000 fps? when played back at normal NTSC speeds would slow action by a huge factor
