  Believe it or not. It's better to start teaching kids gun safety young. A child that knows what a gun can do isn't a child that usually points a gun at another kid and assumes its blank. How many times has that happened? I starded shooting at age 5 and I am now a disciplined marksman. I'm glad my father and grandfather taught me at a young age.

  It's smart to teach children while they are young about how to use a weapons and the safety of them. A kid had no clue how to handle a gun and didn't know about the safety And ended up shooting and killing my friend. It's important to know young about the use of weaponds before accidents like that happens.

  i hate all you liberal pukes that think guns are so bad. i believe kids should learn early.no this father isnt teaching his son in this video about gun safety but he is also not handing the gun to his son and letting him do whatever he wants i bet any money that when this kid is old enough to start using firearms on his own then he will get numerous lessons in firearms safety oh and by the way you can use handguns for hunting most any type of animals. oh and gun laws only hurt law abiding citizens criminals

    @pacificgraywolfNo, he is not a good father. Teaching them early is one thing. This is more "teaching a kid that's too young to even pay attention, look down the sights, or even understand what the hell he's doing". He is at least 3 years too young for this. As long as you keep the guns locked up though I guess it's not that bad.

    @pacificgraywolfwhat he is teaching the kid is that it is fun to shoot guns and it will make your parents happy if you do. Children who cannot understand or fear the concept of a firearm should not be holding one, period. that is why there is an age limit on purchasing them. you're probably an inbred hick who has no acceptance of ideals other than their own. A child is probably not safe in your custody

    @SeanSodermanYou're an idiot, there are many reasons to bring a hand gun hunting, the best one I can think of is bear hunting. Most people have a rifle and a handgun when they are bear hunting, because instead of just running away, a bear will try to attack you if you don't kill it the first time. Also, as mentioned, self defense. What, are police the only people allowed to carry them? WHY? Criminals do, so average citizens can't? I hate you.
