Video Details

Uploaded Mar. 30, 2007 by

This guy takes a few household items and demonstrates how to build an anti-gravity machine. Granted its just a dime that he lifts off the table but still pretty cool.

Pshhhh thats bullshit. Its just like that gay glowin mountain dew...."A lil hydrogen peroxide and bakingsoda and suddenly your soda appears as if you dumped a bunch of glowsticks into a green bottle!!!" all these how to vids can go to hell. people who make the vids are idiots and people who try to perform the vids are idiots.

Not Fake!: Well the cell phone releases Electromagnetic radiation creating a photocurrent, which I'm sure transfers back into Electromagnetic radiation several times. The Electric feild created by the photo current creates a perpindicular magnetic field. Is the coin he is using nickel? I'm not American but if it is he just made a magnet.

    • angry_douchebag

      angry_douchebag - 3 years ago

@rgj798Very Fake!: The batteries can't do jack shit as they're not connected in the circuit. I mean for one instant, when they're touched to the can, they'll produce a tiny (positive) current into the can. After that they won't do anything. The only thing left is the cell phone, which wouldn't even get close to producing enough flux change to induce a magnetic field in the coin. Hence, bullshit.

    • angry_douchebag

      angry_douchebag - 3 years ago

@rgj798Very Fake!: Oh, and even if a magnetic field was somehow induced in the coin, what the hell does it repel from? Unless somehow the coin was turned into an EHD thruster (effectively impossible), this cannot be real.

    • korbb

      korbb - 3 years ago

@rgj798And even if it does repel it wouldn't balance like that it will just fall off. Any field produced is curved and not flat that anything can sit on it in a stable way like that.

everybody: who says it is anti-gravity is morons. what he does in the movie may, or may not work, i haven't tried it out (that's because i actually have a life), but if it work, it isn't anti gravity. there is no such thing as ant-gravity. It is callet electromagnetism. It's the mass of the planet earth that produses gravity, and you can't manipulate the mass of the planet.

@Fartgasssyou're right!: Im surprised there is actually someone on this site with an IQ above that of a banana. g = GM/r^2. where G = 6.672x10^-11, M = 5.98x10^24 and r = the radius of the earth. g as EVERYONE should know is equal 9.81 m/s^2. Can anyone find the radius of the earth?

@FartgasssIKNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING!: The radius of the moons bimolecular magnetism G^3, x the quantum mechanics of E=Mc^2, G- being the bilopulater in the equation F=(x2;=K%...oh, uhmm.. Z,4,uh,Q, uh anotha Q, uh a third Q, and the batman symbol. SERIOUSLY NOONE KNOWS WHAT YOU NOOBS ARE TALKING ABOUT!

FAKE with a string!: If you notice, when he pulls the can away from the CD rack the card "levitates", but only because the string (or strings) get pulled tight which is under the card.

Mythbusters.: Using Electrical fields or something like taht. Go watch it. You can't counter gravity like this.

    • coryk125

      coryk125 - 3 years ago

@PolishAlexxyeh ur right: it wasnt Thomis Edison that did work with electric fields, it was mythbusters that invented science

    • jasonshav

      jasonshav - 4 years ago

@BgtwstB.A.Sc???: Firstly, surely you have a BA or a BSc not both and as its apparenly in Electrical Engineering it would be a BSc. Secondly this is possible. Look up 'lifters' which is putting voltage through triagular metal structures and the float in air just like this does on sites like americanantigravity.com - therefore this probably isnt a fake (unlike your degree)

DMRiggs08 is right: but people are still missing a key element as to why this is fake the whole idea is electromagnetism and a dime isn't magnetic plus wtf is that phone suppose to be doing

    • CJ_P

      CJ_P - 2 years ago

@andrew_7891the phone: is what is being used to build the magnetic field. Plus, it doesnt have to be magnetic to be effected by a magnetic field either, numbnuts
