   that's funny, brown recluse spiders noramlly reside in midwestern states such as oklahoma and missouri. this is truly unfortunate. he was probably at the wrong place at the wrong time. i've been going to puerto vallarta for twice a year for the past 11 years and i've been all throught the jungle hiking and what not and i've never had anything like that happen to me. sorry to hear that happened.

  The brown recluse spider: is a terrorist. We should tell Bush so he can have them all locked up and waterboarded and then wiretap and listen in on everyones private communications to find out if the spiders are communicating with any domestic terrorist spiders.

  Brown Recluse???: That spider's habitat is Eastern United States. Not MEXICO - The spider your'e talking about is the Gayus-Assus Ramuous.

  brown recluse spiders....: ..aren't just in mexico. http://geo-outdoors.info/brown they live in dark/warm/moist areas usually found in garages, sheds, etc. if u search, u will find they live in many places. they can go north up to Michigan, i had a friend who got bit and we live in New York. also if u search u will find that people have lost arms/legs from this spider. FUN! search goole images. its cool
