Nowhere near the speed of sound and the pilot used very poor judgement starting a loop at that low altitude. He almost crashed just like Chris Strickland, the Thunderbird pilot, in Idaho.

    The pilot is a racist!

I first found this site back when it was big-boys and eventually quit checking it because the descriptions were inaccurate almost all of the time. I haven't been back in probably over a year and decided to check it out again...nothing has changed. It's sad when you have a better chance of getting an accurate description for a video on youtube.com

Skimming the surface? Yes It is called skimming the surface when you are still 30 feet off the surface

    • Mr_Tideman

      Mr_Tideman - 2 years ago

@neveionYeah,it is skimming when you're doing 400 MPH. And it wasn't some great feat of flying, this guy misjudged his loop and it was pure luck that he didn't wind up as chum for the sharks.

If you look, he didn't even touch the water. It's the same if you were to swat the water in a pool, stopping just before you hit the water, it moves. It's the motion of air hitting the water - simple as that

    • Stu_Padaso

      Stu_Padaso - 2 years ago

@KevMedThanks for sharing that wih us mr swats at pools....most people didn't know that since we are not pool swatters like you.

the pilot's an idiot--- risking 30 million A/C--- & his own life. There is an old saying in Flying There are Old Pilots and there are Bold pilots. There are NO OLD BOLD pilots Been There, done that.

Not even close to the speed of sound, and in case you didn't realize it, he didn't mean to be that close to the water, IT WAS A MISTAKE.

    • modusoperandi909

      modusoperandi909 - 2 years ago

@Flyntiger1280wrong, he's just showing off the plane's capabilities, it has directable thrust. It's called a Eurofighter and thats what you can do with them, you won't out manuver one of them in a hurry

@Flyntiger1280That's IMAO, right? Or you're a fighter pilot doubling as an a55h0le, modus?

You people are retarded, for a jet plane being that close to the water is rediculously dangerous and the speed of sound isn't hard to attain when you have a supersonic jet. Still, does anyone think that maybe they make stupid descriptions for these videos to piss you off?
