There is a man that came out on Believe it or Not who could shoot an asprin mid air. AND he makes all his shots with a standard bow...nothing fancy....still pretty amazing what this kid can do though.

Alright, so this is my best friend here. So let me straighten some things our for all of you. The robin hood thing is not a fake, hes done it like 6 times. Byron ferguson and some others have done SIMILAR shots, but the clays they shot were thrown by hand straight up by an assistant. This clays are flying away at 60+ mph, so its not the same shot. Also, he does it with golf balls now too. It is not easier with a compound bow than it is with a longbow because it is done by instinct also, he doesnt use

  @VSOAnd they only proved that you can't split a wood arrow straight down the middle from nock to tip. Not that you can't hit an arrow with another arrow.

  @VSOYour wrong. YOu can do a robin hood with todays aluminum and carbon arrows. You cant do it with would due to grain of wood. Also its not splitting all the way down. Just gets stuck in the hollow shaft. This happens all the time. They even make inserts that sit in front of the nock to help reduce robin hoods.

THATS EFFING NOTHING. Look up "Ron LaClaire". he did this shit in the 80s with a LONGBOW, not some super fast, super accurate, easy let off compound with sights. the things practically a rifle by now. Ron LaClaire hits 50 cent pieces shooting a wood arrow with a bow that's no more than a stick and a piece of string.

  @Deadeye777Hey, you need to do your homework . Ron laclair,Howard Hill,and Byron Furgison have all done these shots and yes with a Longbow and have all said that it takes a thousand misses to make the asprin shot or others but, the shooting style of a longbow and compound are as different as a rifle and shotgun. A long bow is completly Instinctive. With a compound you have to line up the peep (rear sight) and one of mutiple pins (front sight). in the split second of identifying the target and shooting, he has to line

  @Deadeye777So Larry, your point is that with the compound you don't necessarily need talent, just lots of practice because there is method for doing it. With the longbow, you gotta have genuine skills.

Every single shot in the video is great and truly a skillful shot! I from St. John Kansas, and I have partied with this shit on many different occassions. He really is that damn good with a bow. He's pretty good at beer pong too. And yes, Heath pulls more ass than a Wilt Chamberlain. I don't get how he does it.

I grew up killing things, mainly with guns. Tried the bow thing and really sucked. This guy's skill is amazing. He's honed that skill by practicing, but the raw talent had to be there. Lucky bastard's got gobs of that. Hope he joins the military.

def got a sick eye and real accurate, but personally I got no interest in compound bows with that fancy trigger thing....now an old school recurve THAT would blow my mind true robin hood stylee
