i think this was mostly an ego thing. in her mind she was having a blast - in his mind the entire thing was hommage to him, he was probably wanting clean footage of him alone on the shoulders of thousands of admiring fans, this footage to be used in a music video. unfortunately she was ruining his footage and had to be bitch slapped down. ironically, it's now his most famous video
