   That was not in Russia, it was in Ukraine. On a air show in Lviv. It was a mistake of the pilots, as far as I can remember. They were too close to the ground to perform that acrobatic maneuver. Before the crash computer multiple times informed the pilots that maximum Gs are reached they did when the pilots decide to quit the maneuver it was too late. Both pilots ejected, captain got 15 years, second pilot 5 years in prison. After release of the computer records everyone found out that second pilot questi

    @Lucidmike78yea, you could basically just drop the plane in the middle of the crowd instead.. the thrust from one of those babies when accellerating probably rips off the tarmac, let alone the ppl on the ground

  AIR SHOW CRASH: If you are so brave Break staff post the entire video of the aftermath. You know the one, the one that shows all the body parts and human carnage. I saw the entire video, it was not pilot error, they lost an engine at a critical time. It does seem the Russians do loose alot of airplanes at airshows.

    @moonshinelarryIt was pilot error and he was convicted and courmarshalled for not flying properly and causing those deaths. He was doing maneuvers he had no busniess doing. Make sure your research is solid before you post.

  Blue Angel? Are you 'we tall did'?: Did the PIC punch out? Looks like he TRIED to rudder away from the people......kinda looked like he sucked down a bird into the #1. Cudda just been a simple compressor stall...don't know, wasn't there. Looked bad. And by the way, I believe the Angels try NOT to fly over the crowds just for that reason.

  PLEASE: I have seen the whole video of this crash and the aftermath. 83 people died due to this tragic accident, most of them horribly. I would kindly like to ask the Break staff to remove this video to respect those who passed away. Thank you.

    @sexybabe12No you aren't: Not even slightly. For a start, the blue angels are blue, hence the name. This isn't. They also fly F18's, and this is not an F18, I'd say it's a Sukhoi SU-30MKK, whatever it is, it's Russian

  The crash: was well-documented. A bird-hit caused the engine to enter fault-mode, causing it to shut-down, leading to the loss of control of the craft.
