@jackson_guitarsIt's an S-3 Viking ASW(anti-submarine warfare) aircraft. They ALL have Windshield wipers, as they tend to fly at lower altitudes into things like fog.

Its an S-3B Viking: Any one that knows or has been on a Aircraft carrier can tell you that the only plane that the navy has that is like that is the S-3, the EA-6B would be a lot louder.....ALso that is the same type of plane Bush flew onto the USS Lincoln in. Too bad the navy is replacing the S-3 with the FA-18F

@HaraKiriWakaSorry. American carrier, American aircraft. Russian carriers look MUCH more like the British style of carrier than the American/French design. That there is a Nimitz-class carrier. Likely the Lincoln, Washington, Stennis, or Reagan. As for HeartlessBastid, it's an S3 Viking, not an A6. The A6 does not have windshield wipers, nor does it make the distinct 'vacuum' whining sound that the S3 makes. Hence how the S3 became known as the 'Hoover'.

@JadedRockStarAgreed, S-3.: Side by side seats is a give away. Only one other side by side seat plane normally lands on an aircraft carrier and it is the turbo prop E-2. That and helicopters. But the approach was not characteristic of a chopper.
