ok, so now that I know why this video is cool, it is impressive that we have a camera that is capable of doing this...However, for the not-so-nerdy of us out here, a little explanation up front may have helped. That way we are not expecting a projectile or some other action to occur.

The frames of the movie depicts the light only reaching parts of the scene. Reading the original article you'll see several key words such as " mathematical reconstruction techniques" and "visualization" which basically mean this is a computer

@darkther4py Well put. Sometimes I am scared for the future of this world. We are so quick to try to be the first to post a comment about a video we hate, and attack someone halfway across the world because the internet provides a sense of being anonymous. If he would rather watch a bullet fly through a tomato than watch something that phenomenal, maybe we should give him a cardboard box and a stick and tell him to go play in the back yard while the rest of us continue to grow as a species.

Ok you idiots... ready? It's a video of a light wave traveling over a tomato and hitting the wall behind it, something that happens so epicly insanely fast that we've never been able to see it before. This camera is capturing at faster than light speed. Kind of a big deal.
