not a blown engine.: first of all, its not a magenta color car like said below, its a crappy camera. secondly, the engine did not blow, the tire did. drivers rear. notice the smoke coming from that side first and the dyno spinning down smoothly. the tire got wedged in between the strapped down car and the dyno. thus creating smoke. oil and fluids would be everywhere should he have thrown a rod. lastly, there is no possible way to spend 80k on that motor and have it sound stock.

@ChukNorisdumbass: First off, if you read the video description; the car costs $80 000 not the engine. Plus the NSX is a rear engine vehicle, the smoke is fully coming from the engine. If you ever been to a Dyno, the drum naturally slows down when you let go of the gas. Or, he applied the brakes.

$80k my ass.: Yea, a new NA2 NSX costs around $85 brand new... I think with some pretty good mods on that engine, you might be MAYBE looking at about $15k for a BRAND new engine and a comptech supercharger and some other boltons.. $80,000 my ass... Break!!!! they're all LIES!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha

Not a blown engine.: It's just one of the manifold intake pipes popping off under the pressure from the turbo. They'll put it back on, safety wire it this time, and it's running again in ten minutes.

@robbnjis a blown engine: if the manifold blew off it would be a lot louder than that lol, and you dont have turbo's in any vtec engine like the nsx
@robbnjit definitely not turboed...: more than likely its gotten nitrous, and it backfired through the intake... and the intake manifold has one pipe... into the throttle body unless your talking about the individual ducts on the intake manifold... if the intercooler piping blew off, there wouldn't be smoke.. and "safety wire" wouldn't fix it your an idiot

Most shops wont let you operate your own vehicle: on a dyno, because of insurance reasons. Hopefully this was a dumb employee and the owner was repaid the damages.

@Professor101I am sure it is modified: Otherwise why even put it on a dyno. Therefore if it is modified and that caused the failure it is not covered under warranty. The way the car computers are now there is no way to hide the truth from the dealer.
