Stephen Hawking would point out that the contestant actually gave a correct answer. For the longest time, it was believed that the Sun revolves around the Earth. People were burned alive for suggesting that the Earth actually revolves around the Sun. They are both correct; it's just easier to do the calculations when you make the assumption that position of the Sun is fixed, instead of the Earth. Two different models with a different perspective that can accurately describe the same thing.

I wander what's between the sun and moon to cause those phases? intriguing !
@What he means is true, it's in a weird physical way, think of 2 cars circling eachother, one is s Honda (slow and shitbox) while the other is a Pontiac (Meh.. but now dead) they're both doing it, but earth is doing it faster. Because our system circles something aswell.
