  This is true. My hubby is a marine and i pestered him one night to show me all the stuff they teach them. He said they taught them to knock someone unconcious without injury. I did not believe it and like an idiot pestered him till he demonstrate on me. He did it slightly differant than this guy tho but it was just as fast and was not painful and I went out cold. Hubby said it's also dangerous and that he should not have let me talk him into demonstration. He said it's nothing to play with. Weird thin

  I have been in Tae Kwon Do for almost 20 years now and I have learned how to do this and it is not something an untrained civilian should ever attempt.

   for people that think this is fake...we were told about these moves when i was doing my crowd controllers course there is more than one form of this move aswell as one that is directly to the throat that will one hit KO ever seen xena...even tho it was just a tv series most of the stuff she did was based on real moves just like her throat jab...

  one more thing to follow this up, I didn't realize how many people believe this is fake. A good sized strike to the side of the neck will accomplish the task. However, if he isn't hitting the student as hard as it seems then yes it would take cooperation on part of the student. The biggest "crock" however as some of you are putting it is actually his "restoration" technique, simply rubbing the neck, while helping to improve circulation after temporarily disabling it, will help, however if the strike was use

  I've been an instructor in martial arts for many years and this video is the worst form of neglect on the part of his teacher that I have ever seen. The man is directly targeting the cardioid arteries on either side of the students neck. Both of these arteries are the main sources of blood for the brain, the technique when applied will knock someone out but it can cause permanent brain damage and even death, so to ask the student to simply stand there and accept the strike to simply make a video is such gro

   no he hits the guy on both sides of the neck. the sides of his hands hit both veins and it stops the blood from going to his head. which will knock you out and after a few the veins will open back up and he will start to wake up again

    @cnubz1107First, veins deliver blood away from tissues, not towards them. Second, arteries do that, and they aren't located back there. Third, this is a pressure point move.

   Furthermore, what makes this just another con is if you watch how he dramatically flicks his hands during the "energy restoration", what a total crock. Reminiscent of the "surgery" performed by the miracle men in the Philippines where they use chicken blood etc to make it look like they are removing tumours. Honestly, if there were ONE SHRED of truth to ANY of this, defense forces around the world would not need tasers.     @tokyoloaderUm, this is real. It takes more than just hitting the back of the neck, there's an exact angle and force that needs to be achieved. I've been knocked out by this, and I've finally got it down, I've knocked out 2 people doing this. There's so much about pressure points that so many people don't understand.

  kyusho1- I've read your profile. I'm also a martial artist. 14 years wrestling, 4 years submission wrestling, judo brown belt from a California State University. I have never seen your technique and I have competed against over two thousand opponents. I'm very skeptical. Do you have any vidoes of your technique used in any competitions? If you're ever in San Jose, stop by the American Kickboxing Academy. We would LOVE to see your demonstration live.

  Very Cool and Ill-beit probably possible. Ive seen a few ahots like this performed at different martial arts demos, and I've even done some studying of the Qi body energy that could also back this. I was messing around with some friend's kids the other day and got shot with a nerf gun on the right side of my neck, the foam projectile barely hit me but caused a weird and quick muscle spasm/paralysis of my neck/back/shoulder/arm. Real wierd. Before you post negetively perhaps you should realize that we "knew"

   To whoever did this very good job with the demonstration and handling the person who had the cajones to let you. I've seen things like this go monumentally wrong, you handled it perfectly, laid him down good, helped him up, very professional, very fluent attack. Well done.
