From talking to this girl on the ground, I knew she would freak out as soon as I opened the door, but I didnt expect this. I think shes the 3rd one to do this since ASC opened 12 years ago. Just before I climbed out, Russell waived me back in due to a cloud we were heading for. The pilot was trying to steer us clear of it and succeeded as you can see after I exit. That was probably the most fun Ive had on a solo jump. Heads down, zero-drag carving down the side of a 2000 high cloud. I pulled a little high since I didnt have an altimeter. Did I mention a brake fire and some closed cells on opening?
