Friday, October 10, 2008: Los Angeles CA. Multi-platinum multi-Grammy Award? winning singer songwriter Sheryl Crow celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Yoplait? Save Lids to Save Lives? breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiative with a special performance at the The Wiltern in Los Angeles. As October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, concert goers were asked to present ten specially designated pink Yoplait? lids at the door with their ticket. Yoplait? has pledged to donate $1.00 per pink lid collected at the concert to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure?, equaling $10 per donation guest. Crow, a breast cancer survivor, is currently on the road to support her latest album Detours and on October 11 will release a new album entitled Home for Christmas. Consumers who wish to participate in Save Lids to Save Lives? the program have the opportunity to save pink lids and mail them to Yoplait until December 31, 2008. Yoplait? will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure? and up to $1
