In my opinion, its important to test your equipment before you have to actually use it. This flashlight uses an LED bulb so you may never have to replace the bulb, the lanyard strap is nice, the adjustment button is quick and easy to use. The bulb does not have a reflector dish behind it, so it could have been a little brighter. But not having the reflector allows some of the light to shine on your hand. Which might not be a bad thing.
