Some friends of mine took the time to build this medieval trebuchet. We were amazed with the range it had. First we were shooting with 3kgs of salt, and afterwards we shot a heavy powerball. Enjoy! ;-) Grtz from some Belgian fans!

Our patrol built a trebuchet catapult at a Boy Scout function that used me as a counterweight. We launched a roll of toilet paper 193 feet. Made with no lumber or nails.

This video was created about 5 yrs ago. We made a trebuchet, first test went well, so my brother decided to stand in front of it. I didnt pull the pin hard enough the second time, which shifted the arm and made the sling release early. Which resulted in a mis-fire, off the ceiling and redirected at his balls. As you can see wearing a helmet and goalie pads, wasnt as important as wearing a cup, which he was NOT wearing at the time.

That looks like fun. I'd try it if it wasn't for the high probability of injury.
