This is the first I’ve read of this title and I got it because it was a really light week and I saw the X-Force on the cover. The quick review is that cable has been on the run through the time stream for two years now with the first mutant child born after the House of M saga. Bishop, the X-man’s one time ally from the future has come back to kill the child. This was pretty good book. If you are interested to get in this is a good issue to do it. It seems to be the beginning of a story and the story is not far enough advanced that you can’t get caught up. Some aspects of the story are a little trite, like the hard hearted tough guy soldier who is softened by the young girl that he is charged to protect and the one time hero who believes he is doing what is necessary for the greater good despite no one ...

OK so now it makes a bit more sense seeing as how the characters are from the future and the Hulk like guy is our Hulk’s son. This I guess makes sense but it sets up that tough situation that I hate where you have heroes trying to save their own people but at our cost. I mean you sympathize with these new heroes and believe me our heroes have done the same thing in the past to other people. I don’t know. Let me know what you think about it. Are these future defenders warranted in what they’re doing or have they crossed the lines to villains. Here’s one thing I don’t get though. So Valeria and Franklin’s nanny is actually the future invisible woman, but these people came back from over 250 years in the future. That would make her almost 300 years old and Hulk is Banner’s son. 250 ...

I have to say right off the bat, did you see what did there, right off the bat that I was absolutely shocked by how this story ended up. First off I have to apt myself on the back here and point out that I was right and that it was Two Face trying to kill her and save her. Great story telling and an awesome choice by the writers. I can't believe that Nightwing failed especially with all of the damage he took. Dude and then Harvey's freak out when he found Nightwing failed. I'm not sure which personality is more vicious. We've all seen what Two Face is capable of, now we're going to see what Harvey can do. There is going to be some serious carnage. Two face has got to be loving this. He gets to sit back and watch the "good" personality reek havoc. I guess when flips the coin it won't be to decide whether his victim lives ...

This book is a bit of a regroup issue for the team and doesn’t have the same level of action that we’ve seen in the first 6 but it is still just as good. There is an exciting development with Angel and how it seams that when he is threatened he now reverts back to Arch Angel until he calms down again. First off this kind of gives him a place on this team of living weapons, and it makes him a serious wild card out in the field. The best moment in this book was when Wolverine was yelling at Cyclops and holding him by the shirt and if you look at his hands you can see his claws barely poking out of his hands and little trickles of blood streaming down from them. Serious props to Mike Choi for bringing that kind of detail to his art work and adding depth to a character and a scene. This book has kept its momentum so ...

It is getting a little crazy, kind of like Batman himself. One thing that I have enjoyed about this is the continuity between the other books, until we got to the part with Nightwing on the table waiting to be lobotomized. I understand that the Nightwing title has to keep moving but it would have been cool to see how he was captured and a little bit more of that story in his individual title. With that being said the joker is still scary and is great in this title. I still am not sure exactly what is going on with the plot but it is still holding my interest. I'm not sure exactly who the woman was or what was going on with the flower petals but I love that chaos and mystery because it is keeping me interested in the story. This is definately one of those stories though that I will have to go back when it's ...
