A Day Made Better - OfficeMax & Adopt-A-ClassroomIn 2007 OfficeMax developed A Day Made Better - an annual, one-day event that rewards more than 1,200 teachers around the country with over $1000 in classroom supplies. Together with Adopt-A-Classroom, were educating and motivating people to support and partner with schools in their community.

With the help of Adopt-A-Classroom I was able to purchase literacy material the students use to help them become readers. I also purchased test tube, racks, and magnifying glasses to do observations. The students just love seeing new supplies to help them. One of our favorite is the tuning forks, as we are experimenting with vibrations.Karl HarrisPassages Charter School
