A dying 8-month-old whitetail buck that hit a fence at full sprint in east Alabama. These fences are used by wealthy landowners for managing trophy bucks, but the ethics of hunting deer even in a thousand acre enclosure are much debated. Wildlife is the property of the public, not the individual, and such fences disrupt natural movement patterns. Deer enclosures, in my opinion, should never have been allowed by state wildlife agencies.
