And just to be sure we hiked down a hill, up and down a ravine, out to the middle of the field where the doe was, down to the fence line, over to the ravine, up and down the ravine again, and then up the hill where we started. Yep...completely missed the doe TWICE even though it didn't move after the first shot and we were using a range finder for distance. ...
