Just like the last issue, while it bears the RIP mark it is pretty far from the other books and time line wise takes place well before it. Like I said before the parallels with the original Hush story are showing again, for instance Catwoman still has a thing for Batman and is thinking about making it known. I like the history about Bruce and Tommy for what it shows us about Tommy more than how it represents Batman. I think the less that we know about Bruce Wayne before his parents died the better. It only tarnishes what he has become. Tommy however is vindictive, evil kid who grew up to become a bad ass villain. In the last issue we hear him talk about his mentor and when it is revealed in this issue it makes so much sense and just makes Hush that much scarier.
