During World War II, defences were built round the coast of Britain. As part of our Forest Heritage Scotland project, were finding out more about the built heritage, including defences, hidden within Scotlands national forests. This is a 3D fly-through animation (from a laser scan) of one of the gun emplacements at Lossie Forest, in Moray. Nearby, there are also anti-tank cubes, pillboxes and anti-glider poles (at Culbin). If you have a story about these defences, please let us know on www.forestheritagescotland.com
