At an event in Washington, Mr. Hisham Melhem, the Washington bureau chief for al-Arabiya TV, who scored the first television interview granted by President Barack Obama, Spoke to MoroccoBoard TV about what that interview means for future changes in the relations between America and the Arab/Muslim world. Mr. Melhem said that he felt that the gesture amounted to an unprecedented reach-out to the Muslim world by a U.S. President.
