This is the first time that scientists have reached a consensus that global warming is real and that we are causing it. In 14 years, Carrick will be a grownup, and in this video he talks about what he expects the grownups to get done in the meantime.

We made this video for the US PIRG video contest, which asks 'What is your vision of sustainable transportation of the future?' Public transportation will play a major role, but no realistic vision of transportation should leave out electric cars and trucks.
In the U.S., we have an abundance of natural resources that we can use to reach 100% renewable energy, although many still insist we will continue to need coal, nuclear, oil, and gas. Why? Our renewable energy resources could produce 4 1/2 times as much electricity as this country uses, if we wanted to make it happen. Our politicians need to embrace the future of renewable energy!
